We are pleased to announce that Steinar Kostøl will assume the role of CEO at Azane Fuel Solutions AS, effective immediately. As one of the co-founders, Steinar has been instrumental in building the company since the start. During the last two years he has served as Azane’s VP Products and Projects.
Mr. Kostøl is a seasoned entrepreneur with a strong technical background from R&D of innovative marine power systems, including gas engines and exhaust gas after-treatment, fuel gas supply systems (FGSS), and ship designs utilizing alternative fuels and batteries. Kostøl is also a co-founder and owner of Amon Maritime, one of Azane Fuel Solutions’ main shareholders. Going forward, he will be 100% dedicated to building Azane.
Under his leadership, we are confident that Azane Fuel Solutions will take the position as the leading provider of ammonia bunkering solutions and fuel handling technology.
As he transitions away from his role as CEO, we thank Håkon Skjerstad for his contributions to the company during the last two years and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
